For more than two decades the Ruth Conklin Gallery has
been a welcoming place in Glen Arbor cultural and artistic life. The
gallery offers contemporary art and crafts from many Michigan and
Midwestern artists in a variety of mediums, including acrylic and oil
paintings, wildlife wood carvings, beach stone and beach glass jewelry,
ceramics and glass.

Ruth Conklin, the gallery founder and artist, creates
and exhibits acrylic landscape paintings that capture and preserve
memories of the Leelanau Peninsula and region. Ruth Conklin’s
Northern Michigan carved wood Story stools, ceramic tiles, boxes, clocks and other
home accents feature the charming legend of the nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes
National Lakeshore.

The Pack•Fax•Ship facility is housed in the gallery. Michael Saddow, Ruth’s husband, offers expert packaging for art work, furniture,
glass, china, whatever you bring in, from golf clubs and fresh-caught fish
